Stadtwerke Andernach GmbH (Municipal Utilities): WE TAKE CARE OF IT

The Stadtwerke Andernach GmbH (Municipal Utilities) and their subsidiary, the Stadtwerke Andernach Energie GmbH (Municipal Utilities), take care of the Rhine port, the Andernach water supply (e.g. pumping of the water, ownership of the water network), the parking garages (underground garage “Rathaus” and parking garage “Am Stadtgraben”), the local city transport and the public indoor pool.

Approximately 100 employees work for the citizens of Andernach, for the city and for the local region. As a service provider, quality is important to us. We can attest to this with our on-site quality and environmental management system for which we are certified.

As a municipal business, we see it as our duty to give young people the opportunity to start their careers. Currently, we have 15 apprentices/trainees being trained as Office Administrators, Port Logistics Specialists, Plant Mechanics (working with pipe system technology) and Pool Operations Specialists.
