BULK CARGO HANDLING AT THE PORT OF ANDERNACH

Handling cargo in the form of large-weighbridge bulk cargo from the local region is a particular focus of the Port of Andernach: especially lava, pumice, different types of gravel, limestone, drifting sand and basalt, as well as wheat and barley.

The Port of Andernach also specialises in handling large-weighbridge bulk cargo for the local region, from all the continents of this world – for instance, de-icing salt from Iran; bauxites from China; feldspar from Turkey; pumice from Iceland; andalusites from South Africa; Mulcoa from the United States; fertilisers from the Netherlands; and many more.
