MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE AT THE PORT OF ANDERNACH
The Port of Andernach has an existing railway infrastructure at their disposal at the harbour basin (South Dock, intermodal terminal).
This allows interested parties to have cargo handling done from train-to-truck or from train-to-ship, as well as vice versa; the port’s railway line, therefore, contributes to the trimodal cargo-handling services offered by the Rhine port of Andernach.
With their Middle Rhine Flanders Express (MFE) scheduled train services, our partner Haeger & Schmidt Logistics’ Intermodal Division offers a direct block train connection from Andernach to Antwerp v.v. with 2 departures per week.
